Normally, radio measurement is performed on-site. This measurement however provides little in the way of meaningful results, as often the racks are either not in place or are unfilled. Especially these are the factors which have a considerable influence on a radio network coverage.
To ensure a fully functional radio data system can be used from the onset, Jungheinrich offers WLAN simulation and a performance analysis after commissioning. Both these methods can be used to design the radio network to suit all individual warehouse requirements.
Before commissioning: WLAN simulation
Based on the layout of the warehouse and using information on the racks and the goods to be stored, the optimum locations and number of access points required is simulated.
After installing and commissioning: Performance analysis
The real radio coverage is assessed on-site, the radio data transmission system will be modified when necessary.
