Voice-controlled picking systems are becoming more widespread within warehouse logistics. Warehouse employees communicate via listening and talking with the WMS.
The store employee receives his instructions over a headphone and reports back into a microphone, if he has fulfilled the instruction. The employee has both hands vacant for gripping and putting down the picking goods. The workflow is not interrupted by reading lists or by the operation of terminals.
