The Jungheinrich Truck Guidance System ensures a consistently high utilization level of the truck fleet. Unnecessary journeys as well as queues in front of racking aisles. All stacking, retrieving and picking orders are allocated via radio data transmission according to the following criteria:
- Allocation of all transport orders to the most appropriate trucks:
- Truck closest to the original location
- Truck assigned to this particular warehouse area
- Truck which is able to transport certain goods (e. g. according to load capacities or necessary attachments)
- Truck without current orders
- Route optimisation
- Organisation of multi-stage transports
- Administration of the truck fleet
- Control center functionalities and capacity management
The Jungheinrich Truck Guidance System helps to increase the efficiency of the warehouse and decrease the energy consumption of the whole truck fleet.
